Final Project outline

I am going to documenting generations of literary influence. I have designated my population to be based on "Generations" beginning with Generation 0 (ages 1-9), Generation 1 (ages 10-19)Generation 2 (ages 20-29)Generation 3 (ages 30-39)Generation 4 (ages 40-49)Generation 5 (ages 50-59)Generation 6 (ages 60-69)Generation 7 (ages 70-79)Generation 8 (ages 80-89)Generation 9 (ages 90-99)
I plan on having three subjects for each generation. Each of these subjects will be asked to 1. recall two of their favorite books and discuss why2. Do you remeber a book that changed the way you thought, acted, beleived, or personality...Did they have a book that helped shape their identity?
From these recollections, I plan on connecting the type of book to its "forefather" and highlighting their contribution which allowed them to have such a life altering experience.
I am looking for subjects in Generation 7, 8, and 9 if anyone has some references.

Engines of Our Ingenuity

I am selecting episode #2226 Aesop's Fables and Scientific Illustration. I selected this episode because of its relation to our chilren's lit. class, but upon listening to it, I enjoyed understanding just how influential these fables were across the board. It should be interesting to connect the two with images.

Assignment 4 Digital Story with sound

The luggage, the packing, and the planning: These are all things that go into planning a vacation. The only difference with this vacation, is that it was forced!!! Hurricane Ike came into our lives and created chaos and destruction. But throughout this time, our good friends the Ardalan's opened up their home and created a "hotel" atmosphere throughout our whole stay. It was during this stay that we really learned about our friends from Iran and the interesting styles and histories they shared.

Maybe it was our outlook, but there seemed to be calmness and life after the storm. The fallen trees created artistic features if one knew how to find them, and the lush green of the surrounding seemed to shine bright only overtaken by the breathtaking moments of dusk.

Vacation has a whole other meaning to us know.

A Hurricane Vacation

This was a wonderful experience. I loved the ease of the program. I can not wait to play more with it as the semester continues. I was not able to connect this story to my class project because I am just not at the point of finding the proper images. But this will be a very nice remembrance of our hurricane experience. We stayed with our friends from Iran and we had just a wonderful time given the circumstances. After we got power back and we began to go outside more, I marveled at some of the scenery that was around. The lighting that day was beautiful- it was almost like the calm after the storm.
